Welcome to Hope Reality TV ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
By creating an account or using our services, you confirm that:
2.1 Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
2.2 Account Security: You must not share your password, allow others to access your account, or do anything that might jeopardize the security of your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for enhanced security.
You agree not to:
4.1 Vote Purchases: All votes purchased are final and non-refundable. Votes cannot be transferred between contestants or shows.
4.2 Fair Voting: We employ fraud detection systems. Any attempt to manipulate voting results through automated means, multiple fake accounts, or other fraudulent methods will result in vote invalidation and account termination.
4.3 Rate Limits: To ensure fair access, voting is subject to rate limits (currently 10 requests per minute). Exceeding these limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
4.4 Voting Deadlines: Voting closes at the published deadline for each show. Votes submitted after the deadline will not be counted, and no refunds will be issued.
5.1 Ticket Sales: All ticket sales are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to limit the number of tickets purchased per user (currently 20 per day).
5.2 E-Tickets: Tickets are delivered electronically (e-tickets) to your registered email address. You are responsible for presenting a valid e-ticket and government-issued ID at the event venue.
5.3 Entry Requirements: Entry to events may be denied if you cannot present a valid ticket and matching ID, or if you are intoxicated, disruptive, or pose a security risk.
5.4 Event Changes: We reserve the right to change event dates, times, venues, or cancel events. In case of cancellation, full refunds will be provided. For postponements, tickets remain valid for the new date, or refunds are available upon request.
6.1 Application Process: Audition applications are subject to review and approval. Payment of application fees does not guarantee acceptance or participation in any show.
6.2 Application Limits: Users may submit only one audition application per show. Multiple applications from the same individual will result in disqualification.
6.3 Content Ownership: By submitting an audition application, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your submitted materials (photos, videos, biographies) for promotional purposes.
6.4 Eligibility: Applicants must meet the specific eligibility criteria for each show (age, residency, etc.). False information or misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification.
7.1 Payment Processing: All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (Flutterwave and Paystack). We do not store your card information.
7.2 Pricing: All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
7.3 Failed Transactions: If your payment fails but you are debited, contact us immediately with your transaction reference. Do not retry payment. Reversals typically occur within 24-48 hours.
7.4 Refund Policy: Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Generally, votes are non-refundable, and tickets are refundable only under specific conditions.
8.1 Platform Content: All content on our Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of Hope Reality TV or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 User-Generated Content: By uploading or submitting content to our Platform (photos, videos, comments), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content.
8.3 Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our Platform content without explicit written permission.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
10.1 "As Is" Basis: Our Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
10.2 No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
10.3 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hope Reality TV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
10.4 Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hope Reality TV, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12.1 By You: You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Unused tickets will be refunded according to our refund policy.
12.2 By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for:
13.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Imo State, Nigeria.
13.3 Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring claims against us only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on the Platform.
15.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hope Reality TV.
15.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
15.4 Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
